Unfortunately, due to the ongoing failure of our state legislators to update the handling fee in the NYS Bottle Bill, I am no longer able to sustain the additional costs that have increased year after year. As a result, I will be reverting the redemption rate to the original 5 cents per NYS bottle or can, effective Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Any items dropped off before that date will still be honored at the previous 6-cent rate. I appreciate your understanding, and again, thank you for your continued support.
